It offered them 110 hours of lectures and practical training in various areas, including software technology, object-oriented programming, front-end development, back-end development, cloud computing and more. The training took place through a digital classroom and/or the use of online collaboration tools.
Candidates had the opportunity to develop new skills in cutting-edge technologies, get to know the company through an introduction and networking event held at CDI's site in Thessaloniki, and apply for jobs in order to join Pfizer's big family. CDI was delighted to welcome 15 of them as new employees, to contribute to the development of its vision and goals.
As a leader in innovation, CDI also innovates in the recruitment process by systematically investing not only in attracting top young talents from the ecosystem of Thessaloniki and Greece, but also in training and upgrading their skills (upskilling) through their participation in the open calls and educational programs organized by the Center.
Gianna Georgiou, Talent Acquisition Manager at Pfizer, said, “Thessaloniki and Greece, in general, is a pool of talented people in Digital research (or in digital, research) and innovation sector. That's the reason why cooperating with the local ecosystem is an important part of our actions. Programs like Bootcamp are tools to strengthen CDI's ties with the Greek technology and innovation ecosystem, which contribute to the attraction & recruitment of talents, as well as the emergence of ideas and ultimately lead to innovative discoveries and innovations that change patients’ lives".
